Walk Through: Art Exhibition Benefiting My Sister's House

Walk Through is a fine art exhibition and salon at the Gibbes Museum of Art. For one evening, artists create live, music fills the galleries, and the story of beginning again unfolds throughout the museum. The exhibition honors the lives of survivors of domestic violence, and funds raised benefit My Sister's House, a Charleston-based organization that exists to break the cycle of domestic violence. There are more than 80 original works in the exhibition, including pieces by a handful of Meyer Vogl Gallery artists: Susan Altman, Susan Colwell, Paul Ferrari, Dylan Martinez, Laurie Meyer, Melanie Parke, Anne Darby Parker, Marissa Vogl, and Carrie Beth Waghorn.

The Formation Project, a nonprofit organization serving human trafficking survivors in the Tri-County area, is partnering with Meyer Vogl Gallery to host “Small Pieces, Bigger Picture,” an art exhibition benefiting human trafficking survivors. The exhibition will feature 8-by-8-inch pieces created by more than 50 artists from across the country and abroad. Nearly every gallery in Charleston has an artist participating.
