Junk Drawer is a show about things. When we think of still lifes as a form of artistic expression, our minds often go to traditional flowers in a vase; fruits and vegetables arranged in such a way. 

Junk Drawer is a still life show for the rest of us. For the group exhibition, artists Nancy Hoerter, Glory Day Loflin, Lori Putnam, Dylan Martinez, Shelby Monteverde, and Marissa Vogl are finding inspiration in the random items and objects that catch their attention around the house or along the path of their days – the little nothings that, at just the right moment, are everythings.
