We are thrilled to introduce Austin, Texas-based artist Kyle Ma to the Meyer Vogl Gallery roster. Despite his young age (he was born in the year 2000), Ma is a highly awarded and internationally renowned oil painter. 

Ma developed a love for art at an early age after being exposed to the works of the old masters through museums and art history books. In 2010, at age 10, he moved with his family to Austin, where he began to seriously study oil painting under artist Elizabeth Locke. He also took workshops around the country with Master artists to further his art education. Today, he's one of those master artists himself: Ma is a Master Signature Member of Oil Painters of America (OPA), a Signature Member of Plein Air Painters of America, and a member of Salmagundi Club. He has received several awards including the Gold Medal in the 30th annual OPA National Show.

“Painting, to me, is an extremely passionate experience," says Ma. "I paint as much as I can, and hope that I can communicate with the viewer what I saw and how I felt each time that I pick up a brush."
