SIBLING RIVALRY: Lori Putnam and James Richards
SIBLING RIVALRY: Lori Putnam and James Richards
September 4 - 27
Opening Day Pop-In: Friday, Sept. 4, 10am - 5pm
“We both wanted the same thing: dead fish and beer.” That’s how artist Lori Putnam describes the day that she and fellow painter James Richards developed an almost sibling-like bond. More than 10 years later, these “siblings” are finally having a show together. “It seemed about time that we had an exhibit like this," the artists say. "We have such respect for each other’s work, and we enjoy each other’s company and painting together.
This new body of work showcases our mutual love for the Lowcountry, our family, and good friends."
Join us in the gallery for an opening-day pop-in (masks required!) on Friday, September 4, from 10am - 5pm.
In addition, the artists will chat and answer questions about Sibling Rivalry on Instagram Live at 1:30pm EST that same day (tune into @meyervoglgallery on Instagram).
